Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), a government owned body under the Ministry of Water Resources being the main supplier of electricity to the masses in Nepal, we have been promoting the mainly high voltage products and services of foreign manufacturers/ suppliers. The NEA being mainly responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of all the new and old mainly Hydroelectric Power Plants, Transmission Line upto 132kV and Distribution Lines of 0.4kV. In order to meet the national requirement and goal, the NEA is continuously upgrading as well as extending their generation plant and transmission line. Due to the lack of expertise, the NEA regularly requires expatriate consultancy service in which our company has also been involved. The construction of the whole upgradation & extension work are done in two ways. The first method is that the equipment are first procured through tenders and the tender for the construction work with the equipment is done separately. The second method is by tendering the works on turnkey basis where the main contractor/supplier should supply the equipment as well as construct the work as per the tender requirement on turnkey basis. In order to meet the requirement and demand of the NEA, Subisu International cooperates with different suppliers/manufacturers/contractors as per the requirement of different items or projects.
